El Raro Que Soy Project
Querido nuevo amigo,
Me llamo Matti. Soy 15 años. Yo vivo en Durango Colorado. Soy rubia y yo tengo ojos azules. Yo asisto Colegio de Animas en Durango Colorado. Yo tengo 4 personas en mi familia. Mi hermano se llama Jake. Es fuerte, muy inteligente, difícil y complicado. Es alto y flaco. Es estudiante ingeniería. Tiene cabello castaño y ojos verdes. Le gusta pescar, navegación, y tocar la guitarra. Es grosero y cascarrabias pero sensible y leal. Mi hermano Jake es afortunado ser mi hermano. Es de Denver, Colorado. Mi mamá se llama Manda. Es guapa y voluptuosa. Tiene cabello castaño y ondulado y ojos verdes. Manda es inteligente, terco, y callada. Le gusta cantar, kayak, y buscar conchas marinas. Es de Spearman, Texas. Mi papá se llama Mike. Es alto y musculoso. Tiene cabello castaño y ojos azules. Mike es inteligente, tendencioso, cariñoso, y muy sabio. Le gusta a cazar ,pescar, conversación, escuchar de música, y tocar la guitarra. Es de Manchester, New Hampshire. Yo tengo cuatro perros. Se llaman Molly, Pete, Floyd, y Daisy. Yo trabajo a 6512. y El Palacio en Durango Colorado. Voy trabajo después de la escuela. A mi me gusta tocar la guitarra, bailar, y comer. A mi me gusta fresas y sushi. A mi me gusta escucho indie música. Mi color favorito es morado. Mi animal favorito es tortugo. Mi animal del espíritu es tortuga. Cuando yo soy adulto yo quiero ser antropóloga forense.

Over the course of this project, I have been working really hard on verbs and conjugating them correctly. I feel that this is a very important skill to have especially when I am having a conversation in Spanish. My ability to describe people in Spanish has improved my memorizing descriptive vocabulary. Studying handouts and trying to remember which words are good for describing different aspects of a person. My art is representative of “beautiful work” because I spent hours in photoshop trying to come up with a perfect silhouette of a bird using only words of different sizes. If I was given an opportunity to redo or refine my work I would have done multiple drafts of my letter because I don’t feel as though I did the best that I could possibly do.

El Proyecto de la Biografía is a project in Spanish Two where we were asked to research a person who comes from a native spanish speaking area. We needed to be able to state, as if we were our person, a basic summory of their life. We practived talked in the past tense and deciding when to use preterite and imperfect. While we learned about speaking the language, we also got to learn about cultures that are different than our own and what makes other spanish speaking countries so unique.
Mi Receta
This project was a great project to end the school year with. We were required to make our own Spanish inspired recipe and make a cooking video to show how the dish is created. Every step of this project was done in Spanish. Clay and I chose to make fish tacos because we both enjoy them and felt that it was an apropriate dish for this project.
