Photoshop Tutorials

Above are pictures that i edited using photoshop. For the first picture, I used the pen tool, I adjested to hue and I used to brush tool. The tools alowed me to change the hair color and the eye color. I removed the braces from the first picture. To do this, i used the patch tool, the clone tool, and the smudge tool. For the last picture i used the pen tool and the warp tool to make vampire teeth.

Landscape Project

With this landscape project, I learned so many things that will lead into our next project. Something that I focused on the most in scale and proportion.  I labeled the background, middle ground, and foreground. The background is the farthest of the three planes. In the background, you can see the least detail and object blur together. The plane in between the background and the foreground is the middle ground. In this plane, the details get slightly blurred however, you can tell objects apart. The foreground is the plane that would be closest to the observer. Here you can see the details of the object like texture. We saved this image as a JPEG even though the image was originally saved as a Photoshop file. Photoshop files cannot be opened or viewed by anyone who doesn’t have Photoshop downloaded to their computer. Photoshop files show the different layers of the picture that are helpful to see so that you can tell how I refined my edges.

Name Project

Teacher Creature Project

This project is called the Teacher Creature Project.  In this project, we got to choose a teacher to Photoshop onto another body.  We were required to put our teacher into another landscape and add any other object to the picture. This may seem easy, however, we had to change the hue and saturation on almost every picture to make the objects look natural in the habitat. The hardest part of this project was getting my teachers hair to match the mermaid’s hair. I was able to get the task done because I asked for help from the teacher and used some new tools that I haven’t used before. My favorite part of this project was that we had complete freedom of what we wanted to do. I liked that I was able to use my creativity to create a project that reflected my personality but continued to challenge me. Finishing this project at Animas High School taught me a couple things about myself. I love to do my own research and discover how to do many new things with Photoshop without help. I learned that I am good at getting engaged in projects that I don’t have very much background knowledge on. I’ve learned that I am pretty good at Digital Arts. I may be interested in pursuing this even further. I think that I might want to take more Digital Arts classes in the future, Photoshop especially. In the end, this project has taught me so much about Photoshop. The skills that I learned in this project I can use in my life outside of school
