The I-Controversy Project taught us how ideologies are each individuals acquired view on specific issues. We explored rhetoric and what techniques are effective in communicating your message. We each individually looked into our own specific ideologies and how they play into the way that we consume rhetoric and build ideas. After establishing our ideologies, we chose a topic that interested us and argued both perspectives. We had to try to understand why people with opposing opinions feel the way that they do and try to understand where they are coming from. Learning what our own ideologies were helped us understand the ideologies of other people.
